A copolyamide composition having long-chain monomers of 9 to 12 carbon atoms as long-chain building blocks, and second monomers. The second monomers comprise a diamine of the formula H2N - R - NH2 wherein R is a radical of certain aliphatics, araliphatics, cycloaliphatics, or mixtures thereof. The diamine is reacted with an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, a portion of which may be replaced by an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. Molded shapes made from the copolyamides are also disclosed.

Divulgation d'une composition de copolyamide comportant de longues chaînes monomères en C9-C12, comme éléments constitutifs à longue chaîne, et des monomères secondaires. Parmi les monomères secondaires, on retrouve une diamine de formule H2N-R-NH2, dans laquelle R est un radical de certains composés aliphatiques, araliphatiques, cycloaliphatiques ou de mélanges de ceux-ci. On fait réagir la diamine avec un acide dicarboxylique aromatique, dont une partie peut être remplacée par un acide dicarboxylique aliphatique. On divulgue aussi des moulages réalisés à l'aide de ces copolyamides.
