ABSTRACT This invention relates to copolyestercarbonate polymers which are prepared with diaryl dicarboxylic acid compounds, particularly biphenyldicarboxylic acid compounds. Such copolyestercarbonate polymers show good physical properties including high glass transition tem- peratures and low ultraviolet radiation sensitivity. The thermoplastic copolyestercarbonates can be used to prepare films or molded articles or blended with other thermoplastic resins to give thermoplastic polymer blends for molding purposes. 36,665-F
