Disclosed are water-soluble aminoplast-ether copolymers of the following structural type:, in which Z represents an aminoplast unit on the basis of unsubstituted glycoluril or glycoluril that has been substituted with a reactive OR group (R representing an alkyl group, alkene group, alkyl ether group, or alkyl ester group, preferably a low alkyl group, for example a methyl group or ethyl group); B represents the remainder of an essentially water-insoluble polymer selected among poly-n-butyl acrylate, poly-n-butyl methacrylate, polyethyl acrylate, polytetrahydrofuran, polyethylmethacrylate, polymethylacrylate, polymethylmethacrylate, mostly aliphatic polycarbonate or mostly aromatic polycarbonate, most preferably among poly-n-butyl methacrylate or mostly aliphatic or aromatic polycarbonate with at least two functional groups which can react with the OR function of the aminoplast unit, preferably with a hydroxyl function; R1 represents the remainder of a hydrophilic organic compound with at least one functional group which can react with the OR function of the aminoplast unit, preferably with a hydroxyl function, while making an ether bond; and a equals at least 1. Also disclosed are a method for producing the inventive aminoplast-ether copolymers and the use thereof as a dispersing agent and a stabilizer.
La présente invention concerne des copolymères aminoplaste-éther hydrosolubles présentant la structure suivante : dans laquelle Z représente une unité aminoplaste à base d'un glycolurile substitué par un groupe OR réactif (où R représente un groupe alkyle, alkylène, alkyléther ou alkylester, de préférence un groupe alkyle inférieur, tel qu'un groupe méthyle ou éthyle) ou non substitué, B représente le radical d'un polymère sensiblement non hydrosoluble, choisi parmi poly-n-butylacrylate, poly-n-butylméthacrylate, polyéthylacrylate, polytétrahydrofurane, polyéthylméthacrylate, polyméthylacrylate, polyméthylméthacrylate, un polycarbonate majoritairement aliphatique ou un polycarbonate majoritairement aromatique, de préférence parmi un poly-n-butylméthacrylate ou un polycarbonate majoritairement aliphatique ou aromatique présentant au moins deux groupes fonctionnels qui peuvent entrer en réaction avec la fonction OR de l'unité aminoplaste, de préférence une fonction hydroxyle, R1 représente le radical d'un composé organique hydrophile présentant au moins un groupe fonctionnel qui peut entrer en réaction avec la fonction OR de l'unité aminoplaste, de préférence une fonction hydroxyle, formant alors une liaison éther et a vaut au moins 1. La présente invention concerne également un procédé pour produire les copolymères aminoplaste-éther susmentionnés, ainsi que leur utilisation en tant qu'agents dispersants ou stabilisants.
