A water supply member of copper alloy that while minimizing the content of lead, maintains the same levels of mechanical properties, castability, cutting easiness, pressure resistance, etc. as those of conventional lead-employing copper alloy. There is provided a copper alloy comprising 2.0 to 5.9 wt.% tin, 1.5 to 5.0 wt.% nickel, 5.0 to 12.1 wt.% zinc, 0.4 to 3.3 wt.% bismuth, 0.009 to 0.15 wt.% phosphorus and the balance of copper and impurities.
