ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There are disclosed lubricating oil compositions containing an oil soluble hydrocarbon substituted mono- oxazoline, bis-oxazoline or lactone oxazoline dispersant containing 0.2 to 2.0 wt% of complexed copper, the disper- sant exhibiting improved varnish inhibition properties as well as providing anti-oxidation properties to the lubri- cating oil.
