COPPER PHTHALOCYANINE PURIFICATION Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to either batch or contin- uous purification of copper phthalocyanine pigment such as about 65 to 85 percent purity crude prepared by a conven- tional process. The process of this invention comprises preparing a slurry by mixing the crude with hot water and heating the slurry in a heat exchanger prior to filtra- tion. The filter cake may be washed with hot water.
