COPPER-SILYER-TITANIUM FILLER METAL FOR DIRECT BRAZING OF STRUCTURAL CERAMICS Abstract of the Disclosure A method of joining ceramics and metals to themselves and to one another is described using a brazing filler metal consisting essentially of 35 to 50 atomic percent copper, 15 to 50 atomic percent silver and 10 to 45 atomic percent titanium. This method produces strong joints that can withstand high service temperatures and oxidizing environments.
