ABSTRACT A copy production machine includes reproduction means for transferring and fixing input images onto output media, first and second source means for supplying first and second input images, respectively, and control means for selectively coupling one of the source means to the reproduction means, and interleaving means within the control means and responsive to the source means for periodically decoupling said one of the source means from while coupling the other source means to the reproduction means, whereby the output media bearing input images from the other source means are interleaved among the output media bearing input images from the one of said source means.
