ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A copy set collecting apparatus for copy sheet material received at a sheet receiving station. A belt conveyor moves up and down to stack sheet material. The conveyor also moves hori- zontally to form separately identifiable copy sets in three modes of operation. In one mode the sets are spaced, in another the sets are overlapped and in a third mode the sets are separated within each stack.
