ABSTRACT CORD LOCK Disclosed is a cord lock including an elongate body, two substantially parallel, elongate cord locking passages formed longitudinally through the body, a respective internal wall of the body associated with and separating each cord locking passage from an adjacent guide passage also formed longitudinally through the body and substantially parallel with each adjacent cord locking passage. Each wall has a cord engaging wall end about which cord must be turned to pass through both the associated cord locking passage and adjacent guide passage. A respective locking recess is formed through a side of the body in communication with each cord locking passage, each recess extending from one end of the respective cord locking passage towards the other end thereof, and each recess having an open mouth at one end of its respective cord locking passage, which mouth is adapted to receive a section of cord, each recess having a convergent portion within which a cord section can be jammed, with each cord engaging wall end being adjacent the other end of a respective cord locking passage remote from a respective one of the open recess mouths.
