A male connector (5) and mating female connec- tor (4) for use in a cordless electric water heating jug. The male connector (6) has a cup-shaped body with an open base within which are located a central pin termi- nal (19) and two concentric annular terminals (20, 23). The body of the female connector (4) is dimensioned to fit within the male connector (6) and has openings (32, 33) to receive pin (19) and terminal (20) so that they may engage terminals (40, 42). A further terminal (45) projects from the side wall of the female connector for with annular terminal (23).
Un connecteur mâle (6) ainsi qu'un connecteur femelle (4) s'appariant à celui-ci, sont utilisés dans une bouilloire électrique sans fil. Le connecteur mâle (6) a un corps de forme évasée à base ouverte dans lequel sont placées une borne (19) à broche centrale ainsi que deux bornes annulaires concentriques (20, 23). Le corps du connecteur femelle (4) est dimensionné pour que le connecteur mâle (6) vienne s'y ajuster, et il est doté d'ouvertures (32, 33) servant à recevoir la broche (19) et la borne (20) de manière que cette broche et cette borne puissent être au contact des bornes (40, 42). Une autre borne (45) dépasse de la paroi latérale du connecteur femelle, pour être au contact de la borne annulaire (23).
