A cordless window covering having a differential suspension mechanism. The suspension mechanism is composed of a first rotary drum for winding and unwinding the suspension cord of a window covering and a second rotary drum housing a spring with one end connected to the second rotary drum and the other end of the spring connected to an axle. Rotation of the first rotary drum and at least one end of the spring are linked by a transmission system. In operation, the transmission system creates a differential rotation rate between the first rotary drum and the relative rotation rate of the two ends of the spring. In this manner, a greater length of cord can be deployed for with a shorter length of spring extension.
L'invention concerne un couvre-fenêtre sans fil ayant un mécanisme de suspension différentiel. Le mécanisme de suspension est composé d'un premier tambour rotatif permettant d'enrouler et de dérouler le cordon de suspension d'un couvre-fenêtre et d'un deuxième tambour rotatif comprenant un ressort dont une extrémité est connectée au deuxième tambour rotatif et l'autre extrémité du ressort est connectée à un axe. Les rotations du premier tambour rotatif et d'au moins une extrémité du ressort sont reliées par un système de transmission. Lors de l'utilisation, le système de transmission crée une différence entre la vitesse de rotation du premier tambour rotatif et la vitesse de rotation relative des deux extrémités du ressort. Ainsi, une plus grande longueur de cordon peut être déroulée pour une détente plus courte du ressort.
