A corner joint for a building made of timber elements, the exterior surface of which is a wall construction made of logs (3.1, 3.2), and whose interior surface is a wall construction made of logs (4.1, 4.2), and where in the space between said wall constructions thermal insulation (6) is fitted, whereby both elements end inside the wall construction and the exterior corner, which extends over the wall line of the building, is made of separate corner elements (1, 2) on top of another. Elements (4), which form the interior wall, are placed crosswise in the corner, reach to and end substantially in the elements, which form the exterior wall, and the crosswise stacked corner elements (1, 2) have extensions, which between elements (3, 4) reach over the crosswise interior wall elements (4), while said extensions have an inter- locking shape, such as a notch at the crossing elements.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'assemblage d'angle destiné à un bâtiment constitué d'éléments en bois, dont la surface extérieure est une construction de mur en rondins (3.1, 3.2), et la surface intérieure, une construction de mur en rondins (4.1, 4.2). On introduit un isolant thermique (6) dans l'espace situé entre ces constructions de mur. Ainsi, les deux éléments finissent à l'intérieur de la construction de mur. L'angle extérieur, s'étendant au-delà de la ligne du mur du bâtiment, est constitué d'éléments d'angle séparés (1, 2), empilés les uns sur les autres. Des éléments (4) formant le mur intérieur, sont placés dans l'angle de manière à se croiser. Ils atteignent les éléments formant la mur extérieur et finissent sensiblement dans ceux-ci. Les éléments d'angle (1, 2) empilés en croix comportent des extensions qui, entre lesdits éléments (3, 4), vont au-delà des éléments de mur intérieurs (4) en croix, lesdites extensions comportant une forme d'interverrouillage, telle qu'une encoche au niveau des éléments qui se croisent.
