A corner joint (1) is established between the end portions of two board-like members (2, 3), preferably made of wood, in a frame, especially for joining furniture parts. The end portion of the first member (2) is provided with at least one projecting part (5) engaging in one or more corresponding mortises (7) in the end portion of the second member (3). The two members (2, 3) are held together by means of one or more securing means (13), such as wooden pegs. The projecting part or parts (5) of the first member (2) and the corresponding mortise or mortises (7) of the second member (3) are wedge- shaped. The end portion of the first member (2) is further provided with a mainly box-type projection (6) abutting one end face (9) of the second member (3). The securing means (13) are elongated and extend through the box-type projection (6) of the first member (2) and into the end portion of the second member (3). The members (2, 3) of the corner joint (1) are secured with respect to each other against forces in any given direction, and, if desired, the corner joint can be easily separated without damaging the members.
L'invention porte sur une articulation d'angle (1) réalisée entre les extrémités de deux éléments de type panneau (2, 3) en bois, de préférence, dans un bâti, notamment pour assembler des parties d'un meuble. La partie d'extrémité du premier élément (2) est pourvue d'au moins un élément saillant (5) s'emboîtant dans un ou plusieurs mortaises correspondantes (7) dans la partie d'extrémité du second élément (3). Les deux éléments (2, 3) sont rendus solidaires par un ou plusieurs moyens de fixation (13) comme des chevilles en bois. La ou les parties saillantes (5) du premier élément (2) et la ou les mortaises correspondantes (7) du second élément (3) sont taillées en biseau. La partie d'extrémité du premier élément (2) comporte, en outre, une partie saillante essentiellement du type boîte (6) venant buter contre une face d'extrémité (9) du second élément (3). Les moyens de fixation (13), de forme allongée, traversent la partie saillante du type boîte (6) du premier élément (2) et pénètrent dans la partie d'extrémité du second élément (3). Les éléments (2, 3) de l'articulation d'angle (1) se préservent mutuellement de forces susceptibles de s'exercer sur eux, quel qu'en soit le sens. Cette articulation d'angle peut, si désiré, être facilement démontée sans en endommager les éléments.
