Abstract A corner connector (3) connects two sections (1, 2) to one another, which sections (1, 2) are at right angles to one another and have C-shaped attaching portions. The sections (l, 2) have two section legs (11) and two webs (12, 13) projecting inwards two at a time from the section legs. The corner connector (3) consists of two angle plates (4), two wedge rails (5), four screws (6) and associated parallelogram nuts (7). The plates (4) each have two grooves (22), which accommodate the webs (13) in a form-fitting manner, and wedge surfaces (28) on the opposite sides. The nuts (7) grip behind the webs (12). The plates (4) are spread by the wedge rails (5) clamped against the nuts (7) by the screws (6). High bending and tensile strength of the joint is achieved by this design. (Fig. 2)
