A correction tape dispenser has a tip (10), with a tape applying edge (15), journalled, e.g. by a shell bearing, to a support member (9) to allow the tip (10) to rock relative to the body of the dispenser about an axis (P) which is transverse to the tip and intersects the edge (15).
