A method for inhibiting corrosion of a metal surface bearing a corrosion product including ferrous ions is disclosed. The method comprises applying to the surface a salt of an ethoxylated amine and a reaction product of an alcohol and a fatty acid maleic anhydride adduct produced by a reaction between maleic anhydride and an unsaturated fatty acid. Related compositions are also disclosed.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour inhiber la corrosion d'une surface métallique qui contient un produit corrosif, y compris des ions ferreux. Selon ce procédé, on applique à la surface un sel d'une amine éthoxylée et un produit de la réaction d'un alcool et d'un produit d'addition d'anhydride maléique et d'acide gras produit par la réaction entre l'anhydride maléique et un acide gras insaturé. L'invention concerne également des compositions apparentées.
