ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE An improvement in a coordinated phosphate/pH corrosion control treatment for boiler water is disclosed, which improvement comprises supplementing the treatment with an alpha amine-neutral- ized organic acid. An alpha amine is one which has a distribution ratio of 0.01 or greater and a pKb of 8.0 or less.
