TITLE Corrosion Protection ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Corrosion protection of battery terminals and connectors is disclosed by use of a novel corrosion protective composition comprised of a lithium grease; an alkaline alkali metal salt, such as sodium bicarbonate; and an alkaline earth metal oxide, such as magnesium oxide. The composition is prepared by mixing the ingredients at a temperature below the liquification point of the lithium grease. The composition is applied to at least one of the terminals and the connector.
