The invention concerns an alloy comprising chromium, such as Cr¿2?O¿3?-former, resistant to oxidation and/or corrosion in particular caused by glass, particularly at high temperature, characterised in that it contains dispersed inside its matrix chromium oxide Cr¿2?O¿3? or a precursor of said oxide. Said alloy can be prepared by powder metallurgy by a method comprising a step of heat hardening of metal powders, in particular sintering. The invention is applicable to articles used in oxidant or corrosive medium at high temperature.
L'invention concerne un alliage comprenant du chrome, de type Cr2O3-formeur, résistant à l'oxydation et/ou à la corrosion notamment par le verre, en particulier à haute température, caractérisé en ce qu'il renferme en dispersion au sein de sa matrice de l'oxyde de chrome Cr2O3 ou un précurseur de cet oxyde. Cet alliage peut être préparé par métallurgie des poudres selon un procédé comprenant une étape de consolidation à chaud de poudres métalliques, notamment de frittage. Application à des articles utilisables en milieu oxydant ou corrosif à haute température.
