A corrosion resistant connection system including a base structure, a threaded orifice in the base structure, a seal about the threaded orifice and a threaded stud with a distal end, a proximal end, and an intermediate shoulder defining a sealing surface opposing a support surface. The distal end of the threaded stud is received in the orifice of the base structure driving the sealing surface of the shoulder to engage the seal to prevent corrosion of the threaded orifice, while maintaining electrical continuity. A terminal is disposed about the proximal end of the threaded stud seated on the support surface of the shoulder. A threaded nut is disposed about the proximal end of the stud engaging the terminal.

L'invention porte sur un système de connexion résistant à la corrosion comportant: une structure de base; un orifice fileté formé dans la structure de base; un joint entourant l'orifice fileté; et un goujon fileté présentant une extrémité distale, une extrémité proximale et un épaulement intermédiaire délimitant une surface de scellement opposée à une surface porteuse. L'extrémité distale du goujon fileté s'engage dans l'orifice fileté de la structure de base et amène la surface porteuse à presser sur le joint prévenant par-là la corrosion de l'orifice fileté, tout en maintenant la continuité électrique. Une borne disposée autour de l'extrémité proximale du goujon fileté repose sur la surface porteuse de son épaulement, et un écrou fileté disposé autour de l'extrémité proximale du goujon fileté est en contact avec la borne.
