Corrosion-resistant adhesive compositions are provided. The compositions are useful for bonding together plies in multi-ply cellulosic fibrous structures. Multi-ply cellulosic fibrous structures incorporating the adhesives, products produced from such structures, and methods of producing the structures are also disclosed. The adhesive compositions incorporate a polyvinyl alcohol polymer and a corrosion inhibitor. The adhesive compositions may be sprayed or coated onto the cellulosic structures to bond layers of the structure to each other. The corrosion-resistant adhesive compositions are useful for preventing corrosion in the various devices used for handling and application of the adhesives such as spray equipment and applicator rolls. The cellulosic fibrous structures may be used to produce a variety of products including paper towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue, napkins, and other absorbent materials.
L'invention concerne des compositions adhésives résistantes à la corrosion. Ces compositions sont utiles pour lier entre elles des couches dans des structures fibreuses cellulosiques multicouches. L'invention concerne également des structures fibreuses cellulosiques multicouches comprenant ces adhésifs, des produits fabriqués à partir de telles structures, ainsi que des procédé de fabrication de ces structures. Les compositions adhésives de cette invention contiennent un polymère d'alcool polyvinylique ainsi qu'un inhibiteur de corrosion. Ces compositions adhésives peuvent être pulvérisées ou appliquées sur les structures cellulosiques, afin de lier les couches de ces structures les unes aux autres. Ces compositions adhésives résistantes à la corrosion sont utiles pour empêcher la corrosion dans divers dispositifs utilisés pour la manipulation et l'application des adhésifs tels qu'équipements de vaporisation et rouleaux applicateurs. Ces structures fibreuses cellulosiques peuvent être utilisées pour produire divers produits notamment du papier essuie-tout, du papier de toilette, des lingettes pour le visage, des serviettes hygiéniques ainsi que d'autres matériaux absorbants.
