13479:WGM CORRUGATED CARDBOARD AND CONTAINER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved composite flexible cardboard sheet, also referred to herein as composite corrugated fibreboard, consists essentially of a core having a flexible corrugated paper-like sheet adjacent a flexible wood sheet having a thickness up to about 0.5 mm, and a pair of opposed flat exterior paper-like sheets on opposite sides of the core. The composite corrugated fibreboard sheet has the flexibility required to meet specifications imposed by the railroad and trucking industries for corrugated fibreboard boxes or containers. The composite corrugated fibreboard sheet also has a better combination of strength and lower cost than conventional corrugated cardboard or fibreboard.
