A fuel transport tube (10) having a corrugated or convoluting structure containing a plurality of alternating crests (20) and valleys (22) interconnected by shallow angled side walls (24) wherein the crests extend radially outward from an outer surface of the fuel transport tube, the fuel transport tube (10) comprising an inner conductive acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber layer (12) containing carbon black; a fluorothermoplastic barrier layer (14) comprising a tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene-vinylidene fluoride terpolymer or a blend of fluorointerpolymers wherein at least one of the interpolymers exhibits fluorothermoplastic characteristics; an elastomeric acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber backing layer (16), and a chloropolyethylene cover layer (18).
L'invention concerne un tube support de combustible (10) à structure ondulée ou convolutée contenant plusieurs crêtes (20) et vallées (22) alternées et interconnectées par des parois latérales à angle de faible profondeur (24), les crêtes s'étendant radialement vers l'extérieur à partir d'une surface externe du tube support de combustible, ce tube (10) comprenant une couche de caoutchouc acrylonitrile-butadiène conductrice interne (12) contenant du noir de carbone, une couche barrière fluorothermoplastique (14) contenant du terpolymère de fluorure tétrafluoroéthylène-hexafluoropropylène-vinylidène ou un mélange de fluorointerpolymères dont au moins un des interpolymères présentent des caractéristiques fluorothermoplastiques; une couche de renfort en caoutchouc acrylonitrile-butadiène élastomérique (16), et une couche de revêtement chloropolyéthylène (18).
