ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An eyelash cosmetic applicator is disclosed. The applicator consists of a rod having a handle at one end of the rod, and a tubular shroud having at least one slit extending longitudinally at least part way the shroud. A brush having at least one row of bristles is disposed in the shroud with the bristles extending through the slit. The shroud having the brush disposed therein being attached to the other end of the rod.
