A cosmetic composition in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion comprising: (a) discontinuous aqueous phase comprising an aqueous or hydroalcoholic solution of acidic skin care active; (b) continuous oil phase; and (c) pigment which has been coated with organosilicon component selected from a polyorganosiloxane and a silane, and mixtures thereof; characterised in that the aqueous phase has a pH of less than about 6 and the coated pigment has a hydrogen potential of less than about 2.0 ml H2/g of coated pigment. The compositions of the invention provide benefits in terms of reducing hydrogen gas generation and improving product stability.
Composition cosmétique sous forme d'émulsion d'eau dans l'huile, constituée : a) d'une phase aqueuse discontinue, renfermant une solution aqueuse ou hydroalcoolique d'un agent acide pour le soin de la peau; b) d'une phase huileuse continue; c) d'un pigment qui a été enrobé avec un constituant organosilicié, choisi parmi un polyorganosiloxane et un silane, ainsi que leurs mélanges. Elle se caractérise par la phase aqueuse qui a un pH inférieur à 6 environ, et par le pigment enrobé possédant un potentiel d'hydrogène inférieur à environ 2,0 ml H2/g de pigment enrobé. Les compositions de l'invention présentent certains avantages : réduction de la production d'hydrogène gazeux et obtention d'un produit plus stable.
