A leave-on cosmetic composition suitable for topical application to the skin comprising: a) from about 1 % to about 20 % of a Vitamin B3 compound, or mixtures thereof and; b) a cation containing polymer selected from ampholytic, amphoteric, basic, zwitterionic and cationic polymers or mixtures thereof, wherein the cationic polymers are selected from cationic polysaccharides or derivatives thereof, cationic homo or copolymers of dimethyldiallylamonium chloride, cationic copolymers comprising vinylpyrrolidone; cationic copolymers comprising acrylic acid or derivatives thereof, N,N,N-trimethyl-2-[(2-methyl-1- oxo-2-propenyl)oxy]-, chloride, Polyquaternium-2, quaternised chitosan, or mixtures thereof; wherein said composition has a weight ratio of cation containing polymer to Vitamin B3 compound of from 1:7 to 1:100. The compositions of the invention display reduced irritation, tack and skin whitening effects.
L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique durable conçue pour l'application topique à la peau qui comprend: a) entre 1 % et 20 % d'une vitamine B¿3?, un composé à base d'une vitamine B¿3? ou leur mélange; et b) un polymère contenant des cations sélectionné entre les polymères ampholytiques, amphotériques, basiques, zwittérioniques et cationiques ou leurs mélanges, les polymères cationiques étant sélectionnés entre les polysaccharides cationiques ou leurs dérivés, les homo- ou copolymères cationiques du chlorure de diméthyldiallylamonium, les copolymères cationiques comprenant vinylpyrrolidone; les copolymères cationiques comprenant l'acide acrylique ou ses dérivés, N,N,N-triméthyl-1-[(2-méthyl-1-oxo-2-propényl)oxy]-,chlorure, du Polyquaternium-2, du chitosane quaternarisé. Cette composition possède un taux du polymère contenant des cations par rapport à la vitamine B¿3? entre 1:7 et 1:100. Vis-à-vis de la peau, les compositions de l'invention ont des effets réduits d'irritation, de collage et de blanchiment.
