The invention is characterised in that it comprises, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, in particular of the oil-in-water type, (a) at least a silicon-containing derivative with benzotriazole function as first filter, and (b) as second filter, at least a cinnamic acid derivative, said first and second filters being present in said composition in a proportion producing a synergistic activity at the desired solar protection factors. The invention also concerns their use for protecting the skin and hair against the effects of ultraviolet radiation.

L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique à usage topique, en particulier pour la photoprotection de la peau et/ou des cheveux, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend, dans un support cosmétiquement acceptable, dans un support cosmétiquement acceptable notamment de type huile-dans-eau, (a) au moins un dérivé silicié à fonction benzotriazole à titre de premier filtre, et (b) à titre de deuxième filtre, au moins un dérivé de l'acide cinnamique; lesdits premier et second filtres étant présents dans lesdites compositions dans une proportion produisant une activité synergique au niveau des indices de protection solaire conférés. L'invention concerne également leur application à la protection de la peau et des cheveux contre les effets du rayonnement ultraviolet.
