PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne des compositions cosmétiques destinées à protéger la peau contre les effets indésirés des radiations ultraviolettes, ayant comme ingrédients actifs des polymères contenant des motifs acrylamides liés par covalence à un composé absorbant l'ultra-violet, éventuel- lement en association avec des motifs dérivés de comonomères hydrophiles, ces polymères ayant une répartition de masses moléculaires telle qu'au moins 80% des molécules polymé- riques ont une masse moléculaire inférieure à 20 000. Ces compositions ne présentent pas les inconvenients de l'art antérieur lorsque des concentrations élevées de molécules polymériques de bas poids moléculaire sont requises.
