ABSTRACT The invention relates to a cosmetic package comprising a container for a cosmetic composition, a closure for the container, a cosmetic applicator which is attached to the closure by a shaft and a wiper to wipe excess cosmetic from the applicator. In order to enable the user of the cosmetic package to retain on the cosmetic applicator the quantity of cosmetic composition which is desired for a given purpose, the cosmetic package further comprises an adjusting means to vary the cross-sectional area of the orifice of the wiper.
