The photo-destruction of an ingredient that is susceptible to photo- destruction in a stick cosmetic product can be re-tarded by pigmenting the composition or/and the dispenser for the composition with an inhibiting pigment and preferably a matching pigment. The photo-destruction can be further retarded by employing a dispenser that inhibits the ingress through its base of moist air during storage, for example in bathrooms, and advantageously such dispenser being pigmented. The invention is particularly suitable for antiperspirant compositions containing palmatine.

La photo-destruction d'un ingrédient sensible à la photo-destruction dans un produit cosmétique sous forme de bâton peut être retardée par pigmentation de la composition et/ou de l'applicateur de cette composition avec un pigment inhibiteur, de préférence un pigment adapté en longueur d'onde. La photo-destruction peut en outre être retardée par utilisation d'un applicateur empêchant l'entrée d'air humide par sa base pendant le stockage, notamment dans des salles de bains, l'applicateur pouvant avantageusement être pigmenté. L'invention convient particulièrement à des compositions antitranspirantes contenant de la palmatine.
