A method for decreasing the level of skin ashiness in an individual with xerosis and having a Fitzpatrick type 4 or higher score comprising topically applying to the skin of said individual a composition (a) having a cleansing surfactant or mixture of cleansing surfactants in quantity sufficient to cleanse the skin and (b) a moisturizing component or mixture of components in quantities sufficient to decrease the level of said skin ashiness.
La présente invention concerne une technique permettant d'abaisser l'aspect cendré de la peau d'une personne atteinte de xerosis et présentant un fitzpatrick de type 4 ou d'un niveau supérieur, qui consiste à appliquer de manière topique sur la peau de cette personne une composition (a) comprenant un tensioactif nettoyant ou un mélange de tensioactifs nettoyants en quantité suffisante pour nettoyer la peau et (b) un composant humidifiant ou un mélange de ces composants en quantité suffisante pour abaisser l'aspect cendré de la peau.
