The cosmetic use of rigid gels containing at least 20 wt % of one or more water-soluble or hydrophilic gelling agents and capable of being prepared from said water-soluble or hydrophilic gelling agent in the presence of water by mixing, kneading, compression and extrusion in a twin-screw extruder, is disclosed. The gels are useful as novel galenic forms for cosmetic or dermatological use, and are generally provided as sticks, pencils or bars. The gels may further be aqueous with a matrix consisting of an aqueous gelled network, or anhydrous with a matrix consisting of a dehydrated gelled network. Said gels may be used in many solid products for make-up, for skin, scalp, hair or mucosal care and/or treatment, or for body, skin, scalp, hair or mucosal hygiene.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation en cosmétique de gels rigides contenant au moins 20 % en poids d'un ou plusieurs agent(s) gélifiant(s) hydrosoluble(s) ou hydrophile(s) susceptibles d'être obtenus à partir dudit agent gélifiant hydrosoluble ou hydrophile en présence d'eau par mélange, malaxage, compression et extrusion dans un extrudeur bi-vis. Ces gels constituent de nouvelles formes galéniques à usage cosmétique ou dermatologique. Ces gels se présentent généralement sous forme de bâtons, de crayons ou de pains. Ils peuvent être aqueux avec une matrice constituée d'un réseau gélifié aqueux. Ils peuvent être sous forme anhydre avec une matrice constituée d'un réseau gélifié déshydraté. Ils peuvent constituer de nombreux produits sous forme solide appliqués pour le maquillage, pour le soin et/ou le traitement de la peau, du cuir chevelu, des cheveux ou des muqueuses ou bien pour l'hygiène du corps, de la peau, du cuir chevelu, des cheveux ou des muqueuses.
