A blow-molded plastic container (10) manufactured from a homogeneous mixture of a plastic resin, a calcium carbonate filler, and a blowing agent in specified amounts. The filler reduces the overall material costs, and the blowing agent reduces the specific gravity of the mixture to enable the container (10) to be recycled utilizing existing floatation tank recycling equipment.

Cette invention se rapporte à un contenant (10) en plastique, moulé par soufflage, que l'on fabrique à partir d'un mélange homogène comportant des quantités spécifiées d'une résine plastique, d'une charge de carbonate de calcium et d'un agent gonflant. La charge réduit le coût global des matières à utiliser et l'agent gonflant réduit la densité du mélange de telle sorte qu'il est possible de recycler ledit contenant (10) en utilisant un équipement existant de recyclage à cuve de flottaison.
