ABSTRACT The invention is concerned with a counter-current fluid injector comprising at least one fluid inlet duct; a central fluid flow distribution chamber extending along the whole length of the injector, into which emerges the at least one inlet duct; a plurality of openings formed in an internal wall of the injector, in the lower part of the central chamber; a peripheral chamber, coaxial with the central chamber and surrounding same along the whole length thereof, for homogenizing the flow of fluid, and into which are inserted centering pins; a barrier in the peripheral chamber for directing the flow of fluid; an injection nozzle communicating at one end with the peripheral chamber and provided, at the other end, with a plurality of holes, and a plurality of injection tubes each extending outwardly from a respective one of the holes of the injection nozzle, the injection tubes being arranged in spaced-apart relation to each other. The counter-current fluid injector of the invention is particularly useful in the electroplating of steel strip.
