There is an opening between your range (stove), and counter top, I Have made a T strip to fit between ,the two to help prevent (water. grung) ex: you our better yet your child washes the counter top and stove putting water and debree down between the space between the stove and counter edge. My strip prevents this build up of very bad germs even after washing the germs climb up this crack and lack on the counter top and stove top which can cause (bacteria) build up to very bad hights,causing illness this can be prevented , with the use of my strip this product is not Dishwasher safe, wash by hand only.
