The present invention provides a coupling and methods of use of the coupling. In one aspect the invention provides a coupling for use with a lamp fitting operated by a power supply, which coupling allows mounting/dismounting of the fitting without electrical isolation from the supply said coupling comprising: a) a mounting member having a first electrical connector element with shielded contact points connectable to the power supply, said member being suitable for fixing to a structure; and engageable with said mounting member; b) a holder member suitable for holding a lamp fitting said member having a second electrical connector element able conduct power to a lamp fitting; c) wherein engagement of the first and second members allows the first and second electrical connector elements to come into contact and disengagement allows electrical contact to be broken without exposure of the contact points.
La présente invention porte sur un couplage et sur des procédés d'utilisation du couplage. Selon un aspect, l'invention porte sur un couplage destiné à être utilisé avec une douille de lampe actionnée par une alimentation électrique, lequel couplage permet le montage/démontage de la douille sans isolation électrique de l'alimentation. Ledit couplage comprend : a) un organe de montage ayant un premier élément de connecteur électrique sans points de contact protégés qui peut être connecté à l'alimentation électrique, ledit organe étant approprié pour être fixé à une structure; et qui peut être en prise avec ledit organe de montage, b) un organe de support approprié pour supporter une douille de lampe, ledit organe ayant un second élément de connecteur électrique qui peut diriger le courant jusqu'à une douille de lampe; c) la mise en prise des premier et second organes permettant aux premier et second éléments de connecteur électrique de venir en contact et la séparation permettant que le contact électrique soit rompu sans exposition des points de contact.
