The invention relates to a coupling device for coupling a patient-side medical line to an equipment-side medical line. The device includes two parts, one fluidly coupled to each medical line. One of the parts provides both a detachable coupling that detaches when subjected to a sufficient separation force and a secure locking mechanism that requires manual separation. The detachable coupling is a breakaway connection adapted for connecting the two parts together. The secure locking mechanism provides the option of using the part to attach to corresponding secure locks of other coupling devices.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de raccordement pour raccorder un tuyau médical côté patient à un tuyau médical côté matériel. Le dispositif comprend deux parties, une partie étant raccordée fluidiquement à chaque tuyau médical. Selon l'invention, une des parties est munie d'un raccord détachable qui se détache quand il est soumis à une force de séparation suffisante et un mécanisme de verrouillage sécurisé qui requiert une séparation à la main. Le raccord détachable est un raccord auto-obturant adapté pour raccorder les deux parties ensemble. Le mécanisme de verrouillage sécurisé permet éventuellement d'utiliser la partie pour fixer les verrous sécurisés correspondants à d'autres dispositifs de raccordement.
