RAN 4090/211 Abstract A coupling device for coupling a pipetting needle (17) to the metering device (11) of a pipetting system. To enable the pipetting needle and other parts of the coupling device to be individually replaced very simply, the coupling device is characterised in that it comprises the following components: a) a housing (15) consisting of two separably interconnected parts (21, 22) and containing means for receiving and separably connecting an end part (31) of the pipetting needle (17) to the housing, and a first connection (18) by means of which a separable connection can be established between the coupling device and the metering device (11) of the pipetting system via a hose (16), and b) a hose segment (23), one end of which is separably connected to one end of the first connection (18) and the other end of which is separably connected by a second connection (19) to the end (31) of the pipetting needle (17), which end part is separably attached to the coupling device.
