A coupling device for use in supporting a door fabric curtain to a frame support pipe forming part of a portable shelter assembly wherein the door fabric curtain displays a series of longitudinally spaced eyelets along a top edge thereof; the coupling device includes an annular part adapted to be slidably received and engaged to the frame support pipe, and a hook part integral with the annular part; the hook part displays an open J-shape including a rounded lower portion to support the eyelet therein and a re-entrant end portion extending partially over the rounded lower portion to prevent the eyelet to accidentally egress the rounded eyelet receiving portion.
