W55 P2 BL/EH A b s t r a c t The invention relates to a coupling element for the coupling together of two building elements, of which one exhibits a tunnel-shaped space, into which the coupling element in mounted condition is inserted and to which it is locked. The coupling element moreover exhibits a projecting head, which can be coupled together with the other building element. The coupling element comprises two parts, viz. one piston-like lock bolt provided with said head and a shell case, in which said part can be axially displaced, the outer contour of the shell case following the inner form of the tunnel-shaped space. In the shell case (2) there is a laterally displaceable insert (1), which exhibits a lateral socket (17), which in a sideways displaced position cooperates with a hole (18) of the wall of the tunnel- shaped space by engaging said hole. Inside of the insert (1) the shell case (2) supports a transversely directed springing tongue (15), which is arranged in such a manner that for one thing it tends to displace the lock bolt (3) in outwards direction and for another thing to displace the insert (1) in sideways direction, before the lock bolt has been inserted into the shell case.
