Coupling for controlling the angular offset between two road transport units (A and B) connected to one another by an intermediate self-supporting unit (C), units (A) and (B) being respectively oriented thereto at angles .alpha. and .beta., said intermediate unit (C) being articulated to units (A) and (B) by two swivelling articulations (D) and (E). The invention consists of an oblique coupling (F) extended by a diverter (H) controlled by a cam actuator (I) for yaw angular offset control based on a law for the angular correction of angles .beta. as a function of angles .alpha., having a central region with a slight slope terminated at each of its ends by a transition region. The invention is of interest to manufacturers of articulated public road transport vehicles.

La liaison à correcteur angulaire est prévue pour deux modules routiers avant A et suivant B reliés entre eux par un module intermédiaire C autoporté, par rapport auquel les modules A et B sont orientés respectivement selon des angles .alpha. et .beta., module intermédiaire C articulé aux modules A et B par deux articulations de pivotement D et E. Elle se compose d'une liaison oblique F prolongée par un déviateur H commandé par un actionneur I à came en vue de la correction angulaire du déport de lacet selon une loi de correction angulaire des angles .beta. en fonction des angles .alpha., présentant une zone centrale de faible pente terminée à chacune de ses extrémités par une zone transitoire. Cette invention intéresse les constructeurs de véhicules routiers urbains articulés de transport en commun.
