-10- Coupling of Driving Member to Driven Member Abstract A prime mover includes a housing, an end cover secured to the housing, a driving shaft mounted in the housing and a driven member mounted external of the end cover. A coupling mechanism couples the driving shaft to the driven member to provide an arrangement that allows the removal of the driving shaft without having to remove the end cover and other associated elements. This provides a substantial time savings when removing a driving shaft from a prime mover.
