ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plastics pipe coupling sleeve has at one end an integral internal rib for engaging an external sealing ring or a pipe, and at the other end an internal resilient sealing ring for engaging a second pipe. The coupling is made by injection moulding the sealing ring then injection moulding the plastics sleeve in contact with the sealing ring. Also disclosed is a technique for moulding a plastics coupling socket directly onto an end of a pipe.
