- 15 - COVER DEVICE FOR A PICKUP TRUCK BOX ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cover device for a truck box includes a front part with a raised box section which does not extend into the interior of the truck box and includes inclined top surfaces extending upwardly towards a top apex below the height of the rear window of the vehicle allowing view through the rearview mirror. The rear part if connected to the front part by an overlapping section having a transverse rain dam at a rearmost edge of the front part which cooperates with a planar underside of the rear part to prevent moisture entry. The amount of overlap can be adjusted to increase or decrease the total length of the cover to accommodate different models of trucks.
