ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure herein describes a cover element adapted to engage a connector element in the making of a display panel; the connector element has a projection (or cavity) on the top face thereof which is adapted to engage a corresponding by shaped cavity (or projection) provided on the opposing face of the cover element; the projection is slightly inclined with respect to a vertical axis and the cavity is so disposed has to come in substantial vertical registry with the projection, the edges of the cavity bearing against the projection prior to engagement of the connector element with the cover element; the cover and the connector elements are formed of elastic material whereby pressure on the cover element causes deflection of the material in the area of the cavity to enable the sliding inser- tion of the projection passed the edges into the cavity and to provide a tight frictional engagement between the cover and the connector elements.
