Abstract of the Disclosure An upper and lower member define a feed chamber in a container cover. An insert is placed in the feed chamber to provide fluid communication from outside the cover to the associated container. A liquid blocking layer is formed in the feed chamber when the liquid is poured through the opening of the cover to minimize heat and aroma losses.
