AMDREWS ABSTRACT A container includes a base portion having a cover attached thereto by a hinge assembly. Plates extend outwardly from the base portion and together with arms extending outwardly from the cover carry a latch mechanism to maintain the cover in an open position. The latch mechanism includes complementary lock barbs on a plate and an arm, each lock barb having a camming surface and a lock surface. As the cover is rotated, the camming surface of the lock barb rides over the camming surface of the lock barb until the lock surfaces engage each other.
