ABSTRACT A COVER-LOCKING DEVICE FOR A VIDEO TAPE CASSETTE A cover-locking device for a video tape cassette comprising a cover-locking member (1) having a cover- locking projection (4) and means (8) for pivotally mounting the member (l) in a housing (7, 11) of the cassette. The cover-locking device also comprises a spring member (2) integrally formed on the cover-locking member (1). Suitab- ly the spring member (2) extends upwardly, and at an angle to, an upper portion of the cover-locking member (1) so as to be urged against an inner surface of the tape cassette' housing.
