A device comprising a carrier tape with compartments and a cover tape for sealing items in the compartments includes a cover tape having a base film layer, a striped adhesive layer formed on the first surface of the base film to adhere the cover tape to the carrier tape, and an antistatic layer formed on the adhesive layer and base film layer to provide antistatic coating on substantially the entire width of the surface of the base film. A primer layer containing an antistatic agent may be placed on the base film layer as an alternative to an antistatic layer.
Le dispositif faisant l'objet de la présente invention comprend un ruban porteur à compartiments et un ruban de recouvrement servant à sceller des articles contenus dans lesdits compartiments. Ce ruban de recouvrement est constitué d'une couche film de base, d'une couche adhésive striée formée sur la première surface du film de base et qui assure l'adhésion entre le ruban de recouvrement et le ruban porteur, et d'une couche anstistatique formée sur la couche adhésive et la couche film de base, qui offre un revêtement antistatique sur pratiquement toute la largeur de la surface du film de base. Une autre alternative consiste à remplacer la couche antistatique par une couche d'apprêt contenant un agent antistatique, déposée sur la couche film de base.
